Lily Hassioti

Lily Hassioti (b. 1994) is a multimedia artist based between London and Athens. Through site-specific installations, interactive sculptures, generative sound and code, she explores and rearticulates relationships of interconnectedness within technological, ecological and social networks. 

Lily holds a BA(Hons) in Fine Art (2016) from DJCAD in Dundee, Scotland, and currently completing an MFA in Computational Arts in Goldsmiths, London, with a scholarship by NEON cultural organisation. In 2020 she was awarded the ARTWORKS fellowship by Stavros Niarchos foundation, and in 2023 the Styria Artist in Residence by Land Steiermark. She is also a founding member of Athens Open Studio, a space focusing on creative enquiry and education since 2018.

Lily’s works have been part of exhibitions and festivals such as: Thin Air micro-residency in the BEAMS, London, 2023, Kunstraum Steiermark 2022, Neue Galerie Graz, (Austria, 2023), State of Concept, (Athens, 2022), Athens Digital Arts Festival 2019 and 2017; New Contemporaries, Royal Scottish Academy (Edinburgh, 2017); Her work is part of the Royal Scottish Academy collection.
